Balance your Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual life!
If we had planned a more beautiful and perfect day in Chicago yesterday, it would have been impossible. It was resurrection Sunday and that, in it of itself, was special! The weather was near perfection -even though we experienced the 4 seasons in the last week, including several inches of snow accumulated last Sunday. I mean, I remember when Spring felt like, well, Spring! We invited some family and friends to attend church and some decided to re-start a relationship with God! They attentively heard how passionately our pastor explained how Jesus traded down so they can be declared free…free from guilt…free from punishment…free from rejection. It was a powerful message worthy of mention on my blog because these kinds of messages impact people eternally and helps us grow SPIRITUALLY. My mom taught me to love God with all my heart, soul and strength and I’ll forever be grateful for it. As part of my daily devotional, I do it with my sisters on a phone app and, it not only helps us to grow spiritually, but it helps us to stay closely connected.
Giving priority to your MENTAL and EMOTIONAL health is a must right now! People had never been more open to talk about their struggles with anxiety and stress. My husband is an expert on meditation and has partnered with a company who is a leader in this area. Amare Global, the Mental Health Wellness company is not yet known by everyone but will cause a revolution! It came in a divine way a year ago as a resource to help his clients and I’m learning to love everything about it because as a coach, I often encounter clients with these challenges and when these struggles go untreated, people may find themselves dealing with more serious conditions such as depression and even suicidal thoughts. Finally, some people are surprised of the level of energy they see in me. I exercise regularly and love to support special events with my instructors. We create opportunities that involved PHYSICAL activity and mindfulness to connect with students at our studio and in our community. When you’re active, it’s contagious! I remember seeing my mom always doing something! I’m blessed that my family is actively involved in causes like 5k’s or marathons and it’s especially fun to do things together, like exercise.
There’s really no secret! It takes discipline and a personal commitment to yourself to improve in all these areas. Do it and you’ll be able to live a life of significance! Guaranteed!
